There’s a new lad on the blo(g)
Alright, I am Lokesh Ramani, a day MSIM Candidate at the iSchool (Also meaning that I am a graduate student with a specialization in Information Management at the Information School). I am also the new student blogger at the Husky Career Center.
Besides spending about 10 hours a day at Mary Gates Hall, I get to indulge in soccer, watching the English Premier League and cheering on the mighty gooners, discussions about business strategy, entrepreneurship and enjoying the northwest's very best microbrews. Also, I should tell you, the gyros on "the Ave" are a tasty lot.
As far as the content goes, you will get to read a variety of perspectives centered on career events, job/internship strategies, etc from a student point of view. I am looking at blogging about a number of topics around career opportunities that will be pertinent to both undergraduate and graduate students. I thank the folks at the career center for having given this opportunity to share my insights and contribute in a small capacity to give back to the student community.
I look forward to this blog and hopefully we will engage in some interesting discussions over the next couple of months.
