HuskyJobs, the UW Career Center's online job board, is available free of charge to employers wishing to advertise job and internship opportunities. Over 9000 employers use HuskyJobs to market their opportunities to UW students and alumnus. Listings receive thousands of hits per day and are accessible 24/7 to UW students and alumni from the UW's Seattle, Tacoma and Bothell campuses. Posting positions requires completing a quick registration/account request before entering positions online. There is no charge to employers for posting with HuskyJobs, although employers do have the option of posting to other schools for a nominal fee.

  • How much does HuskyJobs cost?
    There is no charge to employers for posting opportunities directly with HuskyJobs, the University of Washington's online job board. When you login to HuskyJobs, you will also have the opportunity to post with the ‘NACELink Network,' which is powered by the National Association of Colleges and Educators. Through NACELink, employers may post opportunities with multiple participating schools, for a small fee. Explore the NACELink Network for pricing details.
  • Who should use HuskyJobs?
    Employers falling into one of these categories are encouraged to use HuskyJobs: private individuals (including those seeking childcare, yardwork or tutors), business and corporations, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, UW departments, school disctricts or other institutions seeking classified/staff candidates (not academic teaching candidates).

  • What types of opportunities may be listed?
    You may post listings to fill part-time, full-time or temporary paid employment opportunities, as well as paid, volunteer or for credit internships and research opportunities.

    When you enter your position you will specify how you would like applicants to submit resumes to you.
  • How long will your position be open online?
    Your position will remain active for 30 days and at that time you will be sent a renewal notice. If you are still seeking candidates it will be an easy process to renew your opportunity.

    If you fill your position and would like to close the listing early, please complete the brief the Position Closed form by clicking here.

  • How do I close an existing listing?
    It is an easy process to close your current listing, just complete a Position Closure request.
  • How do I update contact information for an existing HuskyJobs account?
    To update your company HuskyJobs account, with a new user/email, please complete an Account Update form.
  • How do I close my HuskyJobs listing?
    If you fill your position and would like to close the listing early, please complete the Position Closure form.
  • How do I extend my position listing?

• Establishing a HuskyJobs Employer Account
  HuskyJobs is easy to use; just follow the instructions, to establish your employer account.
  • 1) Request a HuskyJobs Employer Account (one time process).
    Login to HuskyJobs to get started, click on the "Register" tab to enter your new account request.
  • 2) Wait for Confirmation of your new account.
    New account requests are reviewed and accepted before you are emailed your password. We make every effort to process accounts as soon as possible.
  • 3) Enter your positions.
    Once you have your password, you can go back online to enter your employment opportunities; it is an easy process and you will be able to indicate how you would like candidates to apply.

Employer Recruiting Policies

The UW Career Center serves employers with bona fide full-time, part-time, internship, seasonal, and short-term positions. All employers must adhere to Use Policy guidelines. Positions that request donations, fees, or investments or are items or services for sale cannot be listed.
