FAQs (click on the title for information)
- Date and Time
- The Grad and Professional School Fair will be held on Tuesday November 3 from 2:00-6:00. You may arrive at the HUB after 12:30 on November 3 to begin setting up your display. Please see the "Unloading Materials" section for information on unloading display materials prior to parking. Complimentary beverages and a light meal will be provided at 1:00.
- Venue
- The fair will be held in the Husky Union Building ("The HUB") East Ballroom on the University of Washington-Seattle campus. The ballroom is located on the 2nd floor of the HUB. When you arrive at the HUB Ballroom, check in at the registration table located in front of the entrance to the Ballroom, where you will be shown to your booth. The space provided for exhibits is approximately 7' x 6' and will include a draped 2.5' x 6' table.
- Lodging
- Special exhibitor discounts are available at the following hotels. Email econ......@uw.edu for booking details. Other accommodations near the UW can be found at http://www.udistrictchamber.org/Hotels.html.
- Driving Directions
- Driving directions will be sent with your parking passes (see below) and will also be posted to this site by early to mid-October.
- Parking
- Two parking passes are included as part of your registration (UW programs excluded) and will be mailed to you during the week of October 5th. Driving and parking directions will be included with your passes.
- Unloading Materials
- Before you head to the E1 parking lot, you may drop off materials at the loading zone adjacent to the North entrance of the HUB. This is lot N-22. Student volunteers will load your materials onto a cart and deliver them directly to your booth. When arriving at the unload zone, please label each item with your company name (labels will be provided). After unloading, please proceed immediately to your assigned parking lot.
- Visitors with Disabilities
- Please let us know as soon as possible if you will need disability accommodations in order to park closer to the venue.
- Shipping Service
- Shipping will be handled by the UW Career Center. We will hold your materials in our storage area and deliver them to your booth on the day of the fair. *PLEASE NOTE THAT MATERIALS ARRIVING AT THE CAREER CENTER BEFORE WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28th WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. * If you did not request shipping on your registration form and would like to do so, please contact Emma O'Neill at (206)543-9109 or econeill@uw.edu no later than October 28th. Please note there is a $50 fee, and that freight costs to ship the materials to and from your institution to the University of Washington are not included.
- Cancellations and Refunds
- Exhibitors wishing to cancel their participation and receive a full refund of the fees must do so by Friday, October 2nd. Cancellations received after that date and before Monday, October 20th will be subject to a $100 cancellation fee. Any cancellations made after October 20th will NOT be refunded.
