Look like a million bucks (for a whole lot less)
One of my friend's Facebook status updates recently mentioned that it's nearly impossible to have a conversation these days that doesn't include the phrase "because of the economy....". So true, right? And here I am, about to use that very phrase.
But here's the deal - because of the economy, the job market's tighter, it's more important to make good first impressions, have a killer resume, and ace that interview. And one big piece of first impressions and the interview process is dressing the part, right? Can be tricky to do when that pesky economy is causing us all to buckle down and focus on frugality and the essentials.
But here's the thing - you can still look great at your interview, without sacrificing your rent check, the contribution to your Roth IRA, or even the quick shopping trip to H&M that you have planned for this evening. Check out some great "dressing on a dime" tips compiled by the KIRO 7 news team.

Dress vintage - you will be unique, and you do not have to worry about being "in style" because you already won't be, but it will be cool because you won't be in style on purpose. You will be helping the planet by recycling. Win Win Win.

Yes, because of the economy, as I may say, we have to be frugal and think of our needs instead of wants. Very sad but true.
