Tina I. Adelstein
Tina provides career counseling to all students and alumni, with a special focus on helping first- and second-year students articulate their strengths and explore majors and career options. She will also facilitate workshops, collaborate with other departments on campus, and is looking forward to connecting with students and alumni to support them in career exploration and development.
Tina has worked in student services at universities and community/technical colleges throughout Washington State for 8 years. Her past experience includes: managing a women's center, advising and career counseling adult students, facilitating leadership training, and coordinating hundreds of student programs and activities. She earned her master's degree from Western Washington University and her bachelor's degree from UCLA. She is thrilled to return to the Pac-12.
Tina was a geography and environmental studies major and worked as a park ranger in Yosemite and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks. Her toughest day on the job was getting bluff charged by a black bear.
